Regula la temperatura, la humedad y amortigua el ruido, favoreciendo un clima interior natural y saludable. Es permeable a la luz y tiene una buena resistencia al fuego. Es un material orgánico y 100% biodegradable.

CÁSCARA DE HUEVO

Eggshell

Cáscara de huevo procesada y laminada. Biodegradable, versátil y resistente. Tiene el aspecto de la cerámica pero las ventajas de un biomaterial. Se puede utilizar para artículos desechables y objetos de arte. Es un material circular, 100% biodegradable. Puede compostarse al final de su vida útil, aportando valiosos nutrientes al suelo.

CÁSCARA DE NARANJA

Orange peel

Se combina el desecho de las cáscaras de naranjas resultantes de la producción de zumo con almidones y resinas naturales. Se producen alrededor de 24 millones de toneladas de piel de naranja al año. Para crear una lámpara sólo se utilizan 20 naranjas exprimidas. Sirve para producir mobiliario y objetos funcionales y decorativos. Hecho a mano, rígido, versátil y personalizable en términos de color y componentes. Utiliza material orgánico de descarte, es biodegradable y circular.

Orange peel waste from juice production is combined with natural starches and resins. Around 24 million tons of orange peel are produced each year. Only 20 squeezed oranges are used to create one lamp. It is used to produce furniture and functional and decorative objects. Handmade, rigid, versatile and customizable in terms of color and components. It uses discarded organic material, is biodegradable and circular.

Huesos de oliva procesados se combinan con biopolímeros y otros aditivos naturales para formar una masa que se puede endurecer hasta tener cierta flexibilidad o alcanzar un estado rígido. Textura natural rugosa, puede lijarse para obtener un acabado fino y liso, con apariencia de madera. Combinado con tintes naturales, puede crearse una gama de colores en masa. 100% biodegradable y totalmente circular. 

Processed olive stones are combined with biopolymers and other natural additives to form a mass that can harden to a flexible or rigid state. Natural rough texture, it can be sanded to a fine, smooth, wood-like finish. Combined with natural dyes, a range of mass colors can be created. 100% biodegradable and fully circular. 

 

POSOS DE CAFÉ

Used coffee grounds

Biomaterial a base de la borra de café, desecho que producen las tiendas de café. Como material rígido es impermeable y resistente al calor (hasta 190ºC). Se puede utilizar para artículos de vajilla y objetos. Como material flexible puede ser denso como el corcho o como una espuma. Se puede utilizar como revestimiento, con posibles propiedades acústicas y para paquetería. Color marrón, acabado liso y se puede grabar con láser. 100% biodegradable y compostable.

Biomaterial based on coffee grounds, waste produced by coffee shops. As a rigid material, it is impermeable and heat resistant (up to 190°C). It can be used for tableware and objects. As a flexible material it can be dense like cork or foam. It can be used as a liner, with possible acoustic properties and for packaging. Brown color, smooth finish and can be laser engraved. 100% biodegradable and compostable.

Grape peel

Biomaterial a base de piel de uva que se trata en estado líquido y puede tomar formas complejas. La composición varía según la rigidez o flexibilidad que se requiera, pudiendo parecerse más a un plástico o a un vidrio. Artesanal, transparente, conduce la luz y puede ser teñido con tintes naturales. Se puede cortar manualmente o con láser. 100% biodegradable, reciclable y completamente circular.

Biomaterial based on grape skin that is treated in a liquid state and can take complex shapes. The composition varies according to the rigidity or flexibility required, and can be more like plastic or glass.  Handcrafted, transparent, light-conducting and can be dyed with natural dyes. It can be cut manually or by laser. 100% biodegradable, recyclable and completely circular.

Pine bark

Cuero vegetal hecho de corteza interna de pino, un subproducto procedente de la tala de árboles. Dada su apariencia única y al ser un material versátil, es muy apropiado para utilizarlo en interiores como revestimiento. Conserva su  aroma a madera. Creado desde la transformación de residuos industriales y sus subproductos.

CERÁMICA DE YUTE

Jute ceramics

Combinación de la fibra de yute residuo de la industria de los suelos de linóleo con yeso líquido formando baldosas resistentes con dibujos definidos, una alternativa a la cerámica tradicional. Repelente al agua, resistente al moho y aplicable en espacios interiores. Al final de la vida útil de los productos se recicla el material en polvo de yeso para el desarrollo de nuevos productos.

Combination of jute fiber residue from the linoleum flooring industry with liquid gypsum to form resistant tiles with defined patterns, an alternative to traditional ceramics. Water repellent, mildew resistant and applicable in interior spaces. At the end of the products' useful life, the gypsum powder material is recycled for the development of new products.
